Women with double chin, what’s your experience with it?

one of my biggest insecurities. definitely genetic as all the women on my mums side have one but even when losing weight, it still shows. absolutely hate it and can never have my partner looking at me from that angle and in photos i try do like a kissy face to kind of hide it. not even that big but always had one

Not quite a double chin but I have an overbite and a weak chin, and I’ve always been extremely self-conscious of it. Don’t like side-profile pictures and avoid looking at myself at angles where it’s obvious. Can’t do anything about it—it’s genetic.

I tried to take a cute selfie and my double chin popped in like, “Did someone order a guest star?”
Now it’s on the lease. Pays no rent. Just vibes.

I looked down at my phone and accidentally FaceTimed Satan. He thought I was waving from the underworld.

My double chin’s not even a chin anymore. It’s a side hustle. Thinking of renting it out as storage space on Airbnb.

Sometimes I wake it up when I brush my teeth too aggressively.

People say “hold your head high” and I do, but my chin still weighs my head down.

When I wear a turtleneck, my double chin’s like “cozy in here, thanks for the spa day.”

I don’t need a scarf in winter. I just nod aggressively and boom, all layered up.

Prob the hardest thing for me to accept about my appearance. When I was a kid I was super skinny, like people would get concerned till they saw how much I’d eat, and my mom would get defensive and point out that I’d a double chin and make me show it as if that proved I couldn’t be unhealthy(??!), turned it into such a self-conscious thing.

    Eh, I just embrace it.

It certainly bothers me, but I tended to notice over time that whenever I’d see someone else with one, it never once stuck out to me or looked as “wrong” on their face as it seems to when I see myself, so it’s probably just me.

I just take funny selfies now. I like them better than cute ones
