Would it be weird if i (26f) invite 2girl and 1 guy from my bio lab and 2 guys and 2 girls from my bio class to my daughter 1 year bday this month?

r/

I started going to my old college after 5 years to get another degree. We all enjoy talking to each other in class and make jokes with each other. I was only going to invite the ppl from bio lab then 1 guy and 1 girl in bio but i dont want the others to feel left out or be rude. I dont really have any friends and these are like the only people i consider “friends/acquaintances” lately.

My concerns are that i would be seen as weird even though the girls from bio lab said they wanted to go on their own. I think these people are teens or in their 20s like me i didnt ask all of them but i know the people from biology lab are like 19

There will be games and alcohol and my bro and sis are 20/21 + my sister goes to the same college as me

tl;dr would it be weird to invite people from my bio classes to my daughters birthday. There will be games and alcohol and my bro and sis are 20/21 my sister goes to the same college as me

Not weird at all. I think you’re over thinking it. Ask if they want to come but don’t hold it against them if they can’t.

Invite whoever you want! The worst they can say is no. I don’t think it’s weird to want to have people you get along with at your child’s party. It’s ok to want to have company so it’s not weird at all.

Wait have they ever met your baby? If they haven’t really formed a “relationship” with her it’s a bit weird to invite adults to a baby’s event that they don’t know. Why do they want to go?

You can invite them, just make it casual 🙂 like don’t hand out written invitations or something, but you could ask during lunchtime if they would like to join 🙂
