Sometimes when couples are in conflict or trying to make a tough decision together, it feels like you’re stuck in a loop. You don’t want to involve friends or family because it’s personal—or maybe you’re afraid of being judged. But when it’s just the two of you, emotions can run high, and even reasonable points can get lost in the heat of the moment.
I’m genuinely curious:
- How do you and your partner align your opinions when you disagree?
- If there were an AI that could listen to both sides and give thoughtful, neutral advice—would you use it?
Would love to hear how others handle this kind of situation.

TL;DR:
In disagreements with your partner, do you ever wish you had a neutral third party to help? Would you use an AI that could give fair, thoughtful advice to both sides?

I would rather light myself on fire in the public square than have a “neutral” AI get involved in my relationship
An AI by definition cannot give “thoughtful, neutral” advice, because it doesn’t think and because its advice is based on its inputs which are normative aggregates of existing writing selected by programmers. Marketing it as thoughtful neutral advice would be part of the same current misleading practices used by a lot of LLM marketers.
I would stay far away from this.
