She attempted to permanently ban her older sister from their wholesome family movie nights for the absolute most ridiculous reason imaginable.

It is a dedicated time for the whole household to bond, hang out, and just enjoy each other’s company. They usually cater the movie choices to the youngest sibling who is ten years old. Everything sounds perfectly normal until the teenage author reveals her massive grievance. She recently noticed that her nineteen year old sister has been silently crying during these movie nights. The fifteen year old thinks it makes absolutely no sense to cry over animated characters flying, hugging, or sitting quietly in a garden.

The audacity required to tell a parent to ban their own child from the living room is truly staggering. Thankfully, the mother handled the situation flawlessly. She looked right at her demanding teenager and shut the nonsense down immediately. The mom calmly explained that if the fifteen year old had a problem with her sister existing in the same room, then the family would just watch the movie without her.
Instead of taking the loss and walking away, the teenager doubled down on her bad behavior.
